Please consider this note a personal reference to the honesty, integrity and extensive knowledge of the Multi-fmaily Real Estate profession shown to us by Mr. Maurice Benitah and staff at the Keller-Williams Beverly Hills office. My wife and I first heard of Maurice through his attention-getting radio ads on KNX Newsradio and after speaking with him on the phone and later meeting in person, were very impressed by his strategy for income generation and wealth-building through the acquisition and future sales of apartments. We met with Maurice weekly at the beginning where he walked us through all the steps necessary to acquire a property. We were shown multiple offers for various properties both in Texas and Oklahoma which were shown to be some of the strongest economies in the country at the time. After submitting a few offers Maurice, along with his assistant, Michelle, arranged for my wife and I to travel to the Dallas area to view properties for possible purchase. Maurice arranged for a full day of locations to visit and set us up with his Texas business partner, Richard Keeling, who is himself a Multi-family Real Estate Manager for an affiliate broker in Dallas. Upon our return from Texas, we had several more in-person meetings with Maurice where, along with the additional assistance of Richard Keeling, Michelle and Jonathan (Maurices' assistants) we submitted an offer on a 38-unit apartment complex in Euless, TX. Our offer was accepted and we are now the proud owners of the Emerald Green Apartments. Richard Keeling volunteered to manage the property, which was in need of some fairly major rehab work to bring it up to a safe and comfortable place to live. Richard is totally trustworthly and keeps in constant contact with me. The rehab work is nearly complete and the vacancy rate is going down every month. Tenant satisfaction has drastically improved since Richard and team took over the management.
As this is our first multi-unit property, needless to say, we were and continue to be somewhat worried about the responsibility that we have taken on with this purchase but both Richard and Maurice are always available to address any and all concerns we might have. Though we've only begun this endeavor, I feel like because of Maurice and Richard, we will be able to live our dream of early retirement and increased wealth much sooner than we otherwise ever could have up to this point.
